Our key focus is providing a safe, caring, homely and supportive environment with a positive person centred approach.

We strive to excel and persevere a culture of absolute quality in the services we offer, to this purpose all staff are qualified and have extensive experience. We provide continuous training and updates to guarantee our high standards are maintained. Most training takes place in-house with external certified coaches.

Dementia Care is constantly changing as we learn more about this condition and how we can improve the daily lives of those affected by it. At Blackdown we take steps to keep well-informed using Master Class Training, the David Shread Dementia Care Methodology, and we keep up with the Devon County Council dementia programs.
